IR Glo-Toob instead of VIP-Light

Some of you are just wondering what these little tubes on Operator’s helmets are. I received two of them last month on ebay 🙂

These tubes are Glo-Toobs and here are some facts:

• Infrared 875/950Nm
• Waterproof to 3,500 meters (11,500 feet)
• Virtually indestructible
• Powered by one inexpensive 23A, 12V Alkaline battery
• Battery life 30-80 hours (dependant on mode selection)

There are seven programmable IR modes:

• Equal Flash
• Beacon Strobe
• Slow Strobe
• S.O.S.
• Throb
• 100% Constant On
• 25% Constant On
